For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
1. When you accept your room offer, youāll be asked to pay a deposit to secure your room. The deposit will depend on the room type you select. The deposit might change due to availability, please get in touch with your admistay agent to know more.
2. The deposit will vary from property and your deposit is placed into a deposit protection scheme, and will be returned to you at the end of your contract subject to the contract terms.
3. The amount returned to you will depend on any outstanding charges and any damage found in your room or the communal areas of your apartment.
For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
1. If you have a UK guarantor you can pay rent in three installments, and they ask for the initial payment 3 weeks before checking in.
2. If you do not have a UK guarantor you will be required to pay your rent in full, 6 weeks before the date your tenancy commences.
Please note: You must have paid the rent due by the time you arrive to check in.
For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
Credit/Debit card, bank transfer, & online payments.
For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
1. You can cancel your tenancy agreement within 7 days of booking, referred to as the "Initial Cancellation Period."
Note: During this period, you are entitled to a full refund of the security deposit, but Ā£20 will be deducted for international bank charges if your refund is made to a non-UK bank.
For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
If the studentās place at the university is withdrawn as a result of the studentās visa being denied they may be eligible to be released from this booking provided the tenant supplies the property team with the following evidence:
Note: The tenant must send the documents to the property team via email within 7 days from the date the relevant Visa rejection correspondence is received.
For AY 25-26 & AY 24-25:
1. If you are a prospective student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution as a result of you not achieving their required entry grades or because you have exceeded your expected grades you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.
2. To apply to be released from the agreement you will need to provide:
a) Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your reservation.
b)Supporting evidence from the University or UCAS.
3. These document(s) must be received by your property within 3 calendar days from the date your results are published for you to be eligible for a refund of your deposit and accommodation fees. Your refund will be returned in full within four weeks.
4. Once you have moved in, even if you have terminated your university/college course. You can move out of the accommodation, but you will remain liable for the remaining rent charges until the end of the fixed term period, or until you find a suitable replacement student.
